Troubleshooting – RYOBI 18V ONE+ HP Brushless 30–34° Framing Nailer
Safety first
- Always remove the battery before making any adjustments
If your nailer isn’t firing correctly, check the following:
- Battery low or insufficient capacity
- Ensure the battery is fully charged.
A fully charged 4.0Ah battery can fire approximately 750 nails.
- Ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Tool not activated
- Confirm the nailer is activated — the LED will glow green when the grip switch is squeezed (without the nosepiece depressed).

- Incompatible nails
- Make sure you're using nails that meet the tool’s specifications.

- Inspect nails for damage or corrosion. Replace if necessary.

- Magazine tensioner not positioned correctly
- Check that the nail tensioner is properly engaged.

- Apply firm pressure with the nosepiece fully depressed before pulling the trigger.

- Ensure the grip switch is squeezed while the nosepiece is pressed against the workpiece.

- Check that the internal air tank is pressurised to 125 PSI / 8.2 bar.
