Clearing a Jammed Nail – RYOBI 18V ONE+ HP Brushless 30–34° Framing Nailer

If a nail becomes jammed, the tool will enter jam protection mode, and the LED will flash red.

To clear the jam:

1. Remove the battery to reset the tool and ensure safe handling.
2. Remove any nails from the magazine to relieve pressure and allow access to the jammed fastener.
3. Use the on-board Allen key to loosen the two captive bolts located on either side of the nosepiece and magazine bracket.
4. Press down on the magazine and gently wiggle it forward to create enough space to access and remove the jammed nail.
5. Once cleared, reinsert the nails and battery, and activate the tool by squeezing the grip switch.
