How to remove a jammed nail from a RYOBI 18V ONE+ HP Brushless 30-34° Framing Nailer

Clearing a Jammed Nail – RYOBI 18V ONE+ HP Brushless 30–34° Framing Nailer 

If a nail becomes jammed, the tool will enter jam protection mode, and the LED will flash red. 

Safety First 

• Remove the battery from the tool before doing any adjustments to the tool
   

1. Remove any nails 

• Ensure the magazine is empty to relieve pressure and allow access to the jammed fastener.
   

2. Loosen the magazine 

• Use the on-board Allen key to loosen the two captive bolts located on either side of the nosepiece and magazine bracket.
   

3. Move magazine forward 

• Press down on the magazine and gently wiggle it forward to create enough space to access and remove the jammed nail.
   

4. Clear Jam 

• Using a screwdriver lever out the jammed nail.
