Do I need a spanner to remove the locking nut & disc from a RYOBI Angle Grinder?

For RYOBI Angle Grinders with a tool free locking nut, these models comes fitted with a tool free blade change nut referred to as a FixTec Locking Nut, which eliminates the need for a pin spanner.
The Fix-tec nut also helps prevent overtightening, as the nut should only be hand-tightened and helps with disc removal with an integrated safety clutch.
If you lose the nut, you can buy a replacement from your local Bunnings store.
