What to check for when fitting your disc:

The internal diameter of the disc must sit flush inside the inner flange.
The outside diameter must have even clearance from the guard and must not touch or rub against the guard.
You may use brush wheels, diamond cup wheels and flap discs, but they must meet the conventions outlined above.
Removing the guard, incorrect fitment, and use of accessories with incompatible conventions can also cause damage to the tool and harm to the user.
Not all Angle Grinders are equipped for cutting or grinding; check that the grinder you have is up to the task and the disc is rated for the speed that the tool can produce.
