What size battery is recommended for a RYOBI Angle Grinder?

Cordless Angle Grinders are powerful, energy-intensive tools and therefore require substantial battery capacity. 

Grinding tasks typically consume more power than cutting tasks, so it is recommended to use a minimum 5Ah battery for optimal runtime and performance, such as: 

• 18V ONE+ 5Ah HP Battery (RB1850X) 
• 18V ONE+ 8Ah Lithium+ HP Battery (RB1880T)

Smaller batteries can be used, but they will generally provide shorter runtimes and reduced performance.
