For Battery:
- - Remove the battery.
- - Check the charge level. If low or empty, recharge.
- - With the battery removed, check the bit/ Base assembly for any wear or obstructions.
- - Once fully charged, Re-insert the battery into the tool and retry.
- - To check if the battery is defective, try the battery in a different tool to determine whether there may be fault with the battery rather than the tool itself.
For AC (Corded):
- - If you have a Corded Router, unplug the unit from the mains power before inspecting your cord for any signs of damage or fraying before inserting back into a working mains power outlet.
- - With the Router Unplugged from power, check the bit/ Base assembly for any wear or obstructions.
If the issue is not resolved and the Tool is still within the warranty period, take it back to Bunnings along with your receipt or proof of purchase for warranty assessment.
