How to use RBDS18
Appropriate PPE

- Setting up the Bandsaw
- Check the bandsaw blade are chip free/undamaged. DO NOT TOUCH the blade without gloves.
If the blade is chipped/damaged or blunt replace it. - If the material you care cutting is too large to engage the work stop, adjust the work stop lower.

- Setting up the work piece
- Set up your work piece in a clean, well-lit and ventilated area
- Ensure the workpiece is securely fixed or clamped.

Using the bandsaw
- When ready to go, insert battery.
It is recommended to use a 4Ah or larger battery if possible.
- Always keep 2 hands on the handles while cutting

- Always let the bandsaw get up to full speed before engaging the cut.
- Making the cut
- When cutting with the bandsaw, ensure that your workpiece is sitting against the work stop.
- Do not put excessive pressure onto the blade during the cut. Let the blade do the work.
- Keep the blade as flat as possible against the workpiece.
- Storage
- Before storing the planer remove the battery
