How to switch the Ryobi drain auger to Auto?

Before You Begin

• Wear protective gloves (never latex or loose-fitting gloves).
• Remove the battery before making any adjustments.
   

Engage Auto feed

1. Locate the auto feed lock on the tool (Black housing on the front of the tool)
2. Grip the housing firmly and pull away from the body of the tool
3. Rotate the auto feed lock clockwise (left if viewed from above) until the arrow marker lines up with the AUTO setting
4. Firmly push the auto feed lock back until it clicks into place.

Note: ENSURE that the cable is directly in the middle of all 3 feed bearings. IF the cable is not directly in the centre of the 3 bearings it will be significantly harder to engage the auto feed lock into AUTO.
