How should I clean the drain auger after use?
Do not immerse the tool, battery pack, or charger in water or any fluid, as this can cause a short circuit and damage the product.
- After handling or operating the drain auger, wash your hands and any exposed body parts with hot, soapy water to remove drain contents and reduce health risks.
- Wipe down the tool and cable with a clean cloth to remove dirt and debris.
- If chemicals, bacteria, or other hazardous substances were present in the drain, wear protective gloves and clothing during cleaning.
Note: Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics can be damaged by commercial solvents.
- Instead, use a clean, dry cloth to remove dirt and carbon dust from the tool.
