How to perform a score cut using a RYOBI Track Saw

Step Action
1 First use clamps to secure the material checking the cutting line is clear of what you’re clamping to. Then use the track clamp to secure the track to the material. 
2 Then remove the riving knife. 
3 Set the bevel angle to 0 degrees. This is important, as not doing so may result in loss of control of the saw.
4 Set the depth control lever to the score cut setting and adjust the depth to the desired depth of cut.
Note The blade is limited to a maximum depth of 6mm.
5 Secure the saw to the track and install the battery. Position the saw squeeze the trigger.
6 Allow the blade reach full speed before starting the cut.
7 For safety, once releasing the trigger, allow the blade to come to a complete stop before raising the blade out of the material.
