Why Are the LED Flashing Red and the Blades Opening?

A flashing red LED combined with the blades opening indicates a low battery or a fault condition. Common causes include:

2. Battery not properly seated – Remove and reinsert until it clicks.
3. Tool fault or overload – If the secateur was forced to cut a branch exceeding its rated diameter, the blades may open automatically as a safety measure.

• Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly installed.
• Check that you are cutting branches within the tool’s limits: softwood ≤28 mm, hardwood ≤23 mm.
