What to do if your RYOBI Shredder has stopped working

If your RYOBI Shredder stopped working, try the following:

Overloaded circuit breaker

• The circuit breaker may have been overloaded.
• AC 2400W Crushing Shredder RSH2445S: wait 5 seconds, press the circuit reset button and then begin using the unit again.
• AC 2400W Impact Shredder (RSH2445B): wait 3 minutes, press the circuit reset button and then begin using the unit again.

Blocked chute

• The chute may be blocked by debris, unplug the unit and clear the blockage.
• While the model is unplugged, empty the collection bin as this may be causing additional blockages in the chute.
