  • Ensure that you are using an appropriately sized battery.
  • Thicker and more demanding hedging require a larger battery to increase runtime.
  • Also check that your blades are sharp, as dull blades will affect the unit’s performance and run time. For optimal runtime, keep your blades clean, sharp and lubricate your blades before and after every use.

 

When completing any maintenance, always ensure:

  • The battery is removed.
  • Clean the blades with a dry brush or cloth.
  • Lubricating the blades before and after use with a plant-friendly lubricant will also help to clean off sticky material, like sap. Then run the unit to help clear the sticky material.
