Applicable Models

RED1850Li40, RED1220, OED1850, RED3600

  • If your blade isn’t spinning while in use, consider raising the height of the blade in order to reduce the strain on the Edger.
  • Start the Edger slightly out of the grass and drop in to position and cut at a steady pace. If the blade begins to bog down, you are edging too quickly; slow your pace.
  • Don’t force the blade into the ground. The best appearance is obtained when grass is dry. Avoid edging in wet soil or wet grass areas to avoid the blade guard becoming clogged and resulting in an uneven edge.
  • If the blade guard becomes clogged, stop the Edger, remove the battery, then remove debris from the blade guard.
  • Battery models: For extra power, use a larger size battery and ensure the battery is fully charged.
  • AC models: for corded models, use a heavy-duty extension lead no longer than 25m for optimal performance.
