Scarifying thick lawn

If you have a thicker lawn, such as Kikuyu or Sir Walter Buffalo, you need to select a higher depth setting and walk at a slower pace. With Kikuyu, staying away from edges is important, as to avoid getting grass runners stuck in the scarifier blades and causing the unit to potentially overload.
