  • If using a cordless tool, check if the battery has enough charge.
  • Unplug a corded tool from the power source before changing or checking the accessories.
  • Check you have the right attachment for the task you’re attempting. This can be done by looking at the blade tooth profile –
    • Fine teeth usually indicate a blade that can be used on metal.
    • A more aggressive tooth profile is usually only for wood.
    • Blades are intended for plunge cutting, cutting wood, dry wall, plastic non-ferrous metals.
  • Multi-Functional tools are for use on dry materials only – don’t use on wet materials or surfaces.
