If using a cordless tool, check if the battery has enough charge.
Unplug a corded tool from the power source before changing or checking the accessories.
Check you have the right attachment for the task you’re attempting. This can be done by looking at the blade tooth profile –
- Fine teeth usually indicate a blade that can be used on metal.
- A more aggressive tooth profile is usually only for wood.
- Blades are intended for plunge cutting, cutting wood, dry wall, plastic non-ferrous metals.
Multi-Functional tools are for use on dry materials only – don’t use on wet materials or surfaces.
