Safety First
- Remove the battery or unplug the tool before changing the blade
- Always wear protective gloves before any maintenance.
Troubleshooting saw activation
For Battery Models
- Check the charge level. If low or empty, recharge.
- With the battery removed, inspect the cutting assembly for any wear or obstructions.
- To check if the battery is defective, try it in a different tool to determine whether the fault lies with the battery rather than the saw .
For AC (Corded) Models
- Inspect the cord
- inspecting the cord for any signs of damage or fraying. Do not use if cord is damaged
- Check the cutting assembly for any obstructions.
For All Models
- Allow the tool to cool: If the tool is overheated (thermal overload protection) the tool will need to cool before turning on again.
- Dust and debris can accumulate in the saw over time, leading to performance issues.
- Clean the saw air vents, and any other parts that might be clogged.
If the Issue Persists
