Adjusting Fastener Driving Depth

To ensure your fasteners are driven to the correct depth, follow these steps. Always test on a scrap workpiece before starting your actual project.

Safety First

  • Always disconnect the air supply before making any adjustments.

1. Adjust Air Pressure (Pneumatic Models)

  • Locate the air pressure adjustment dial on the back of the nailer.
  • Rotate the dial to increase or decrease pressure.
  • Drive a test fastener and assess the depth.
  • Repeat adjustments as needed until the desired depth is achieved.

2. Use the Depth Adjustment Knob

  • Disconnect the tool from the air supply before making any adjustments.
  • Turn the depth adjustment knob left or right to increase or decrease driving depth.
  • Reconnect the air supply.
  • Drive a test fastener after each adjustment until the desired depth is reached.
