Adjusting Fastener Driving Depth

To ensure your fasteners are driven to the correct depth, follow these steps. Always test on a scrap workpiece before starting your actual project.

Method 1: Adjust Air Pressure (Pneumatic Models)

  1. Locate the air pressure adjustment dial on the back of the nailer.
  2. Rotate the dial to increase or decrease pressure.
  3. Drive a test fastener and assess the depth.
  4. Repeat adjustments as needed until the desired depth is achieved.

Method 2: Use the Depth Adjustment Knob

  1. Disconnect the tool from the air supply before making any adjustments.
  2. Turn the depth adjustment knob left or right to increase or decrease driving depth.
  3. Reconnect the air supply.
  4. Drive a test fastener after each adjustment until the desired depth is reached.
