- Check your battery’s charge level indicator. Batteries will lose power as the charge reduces. If your battery is nearly depleted, you will experience lower power than a fully charged battery.
- The larger the battery, the longer the chainsaw will run. If you have a smaller capacity battery and are finding it does not last long enough to complete your job, consider purchasing a larger capacity battery.
- HP batteries will provide more power to the chainsaw and come in higher capacity, 6Ah and 9Ah packs. For the best experience of power and run time consider purchasing a HP battery.
- For best performance and run time ensure you chain is sharp, in good condition and tensioned correctly.
- Avoid putting downward pressure on the chainsaw as this will add load to the motor and result in using more battery. If the chainsaw chain is sharp the chainsaw should be able to do the cut without added pressure.
