How to tension my chainsaw?

  1. Remove the battery pack.
  2. Unlock the tensioner: Turn the chain tensioner knob counterclockwise.
  3. Adjust chain tension: Aim for a 4-5.5 mm gap between the drive teeth and the bar. Turn the adjustment ring clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen. Check the tension frequently.
  4. Lock the tensioner: Turn the chain tensioner knob clockwise to secure it.
