How to Start and Use Your Ryobi Electric Lawn Mower: A Beginner’s Guide

  1. Insert the isolator key into the slot.
  2. Open the battery door and insert the battery until they click into place.
  3. Close the battery door securely.
  4. Press and hold the start button.
  5. Pull and hold either side of the on/off trigger.
  6. Release the start button while continuing to hold the trigger to keep the mower running.


The mower won’t start if the isolator red key is missing, or the handles aren’t fully extended to engage the safety microswitches.
