How to maintain RYOBI Cordless Nailers & Staplers

Regular basic maintenance helps ensure smooth, trouble-free operation. 
Collated nails and staples are often coated with adhesive to keep them bound together. Over time, this glue can leave residue on the magazine and firing pin, affecting performance. 

Safety First 

• Remove the battery from the tool before doing any adjustments to the tool
   

To clean residue buildup: 

1. Clean the magazine track using a lubricant spray. Wipe thoroughly with a clean cloth to remove any adhesive residue.
2. For Nailers or Staplers with a top latch, spray lubricant onto a cloth and gently clean the area around the latch and firing pin.
