How to Load a Ryobi Airstrike 18 Gauge Nail Gun

Safety First

• Remove the battery from the tool before loading nails.
   

1: Prepare the Nails

• Use 18-gauge C1 brad nails.
• Acceptable length range: 15 mm to 50 mm (5/8” to 2”).
• Ensure nails are clean and undamaged.
   

2: Load the Magazine

• Locate the rear-loading magazine at the bottom of the tool.
• Pull back the pusher (spring-loaded follower) until it locks into place.
• Insert the strip of nails into the magazine:
• Pointed ends down
• Nail heads facing up and toward the tool
• Release the pusher gently to allow it to press against the nails.
   

3: Reinsert the Battery

• Slide the battery pack into the battery port until it clicks securely into place.
   

4: Test Fire (Optional)

• On a scrap piece of wood, test fire a few nails to ensure:
• Proper feeding
• Correct depth
• No jamming
