How to connect an 80V Battery with a 54" Lithium Zero Turn Ride-On Mower

Before you begin: 
  • 36V batteries are to be used as boosters or an extension to the energy storage that increases the overall runtime.
  • You can't use a 36V battery by itself to power a RYOBI Lithium Zero Turn Ride-On Mower. 
  • The RYOBI 80V Lithium Zero Turn Ride-On Mower is designed to run on 80V batteries.
  • At least one 80V battery is required to operate the product.

 

Step Action
1. To connect an 80V Battery with a 54" Lithium Zero Turn Ride-On Mower, start by placing the joystick in the neutral and locked position.
2. Move the joystick to its central position and press it down to lock. Then, adjust the seat all the way forward.
3. Press the centre edge on the battery compartment cover to release the latch and open the cover.
4. Locate the batteries quick connect plugs on the right-hand side.
5. Align and press each connector down in to the socket of the respective batteries.
6. Check that each plug is firmly secured in to each batteries socket.
7. Lower the lid cover to the battery compartment and press on its centre edge to engage the lock.
