- Before completing any maintenance ensure:
- If battery model: battery is removed
- If electric model: unplugged from mains power
- IF petrol model: unit is turned off
- Clean the blades with a dry brush or cloth
- Lubricating the blades before and after every use with a plant-friendly lubricant will also help to clean off sticky material, like sap. Then run the unit to help clear the sticky material
