How to clean RYOBI Belt Sander

Safety First: Remove the battery or disconnect from power.  

Avoid solvents and cleaning agents 

Do not use any solvents or cleaning agents on or inside your belt sander, as moisture may enter the unit or motor and cause damage. 

External cleaning 

For cleaning the external body, use a simple wipe down with a cloth or rag. 

Clean the air vents 

Use a paintbrush to keep the air vents clear of sanding dust. 
This helps maintain airflow and prevents overheating.
