Getting Started with Your RYOBI Tool

Charge Before First Use

  • RYOBI 18V ONE+ batteries are shipped in a low-charge condition to protect them during transport.
  • Before using your tool, fully charge the battery using a compatible RYOBI ONE+ charger.
  • This ensures optimal performance and battery longevity

Battery Compatibility

  • All RYOBI ONE+ tools use the same 18V battery platform
  • One battery works across hundreds of tools:

  * Power tools like drills, saws, sanders
  * Outdoor tools like mowers, trimmers
  * Cleaning tools like vacuums and pressure washers

Charging a Battery

Preparation

  • Use the charger indoors, on a dry, non-combustible surface
  • Ensure the power supply is 220–240V, 50Hz AC
  • Keep the charger away from direct sunlight and heat sources

Charging Process

  • Insert the battery pack into the charger until it clicks into place
  • Connect the charger to the power supply.
  • Charging begins automatically:

Temperature Guidelines

  • Charge batteries in environments between 10°C and 37°C
  • If the battery is hot, allow it to cool for ~30 minutes before charging.
  • If the battery is cold, let it warm to room temperature before charging.

Completion

  • Once fully charged, disconnect the charger from power.
