How to change your Ryobi Lawn Mower Blade?

Safety First: Remove the battery and the isolator/red safety key from the mower.
Important: Always wear protective gloves before any maintenance.

Step 1: Power Down
Remove the red safety key and remove the battery.

Step 2: Position the Mower
Carefully tilt the mower onto its side with the blade vertical for safe access.

Step 3: Clean the Blade Area
Wipe away dirt, grass, and debris around the blade with a soft cloth or brush.

Step 4: Secure the Blade
Place a wooden block between the blade and cutting deck to stop blade rotation.

Step 5: Remove the Blade
Use a 15 mm spanner to loosen and remove the blade nut, spacer, insulator, and blade.

Step 6: Install the New Blade
Align the new blade with the cut-outs on the blade mount.

Step 7: Reassemble Components
Replace the blade insulator and spacer in their correct positions.

Step 8: Secure the Blade
Use the wooden block again to prevent rotation and tighten the blade nut with the 15 mm spanner.
