Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Engage the spindle lock

  • Press and hold the spindle lock button (or use the locking mechanism provided) to stop the spindle from turning.

2. Loosen the blade bolt

  • Use the Allen key supplied with the saw to turn the bolt anti- Clockwise to loosen it.

3. Move the lower blade guard out of the way

  • Lift or retract the guard using the retracting handle so you can access the spindle and fit the blade.
  • Keep fingers clear of the blade area at all times.

4. Remove the outer flange and old blade

  • Take off the outer flange and carefully remove the blade from the spindle.

5. Fit the new blade

  • Follow the direction-of-cut arrow on the blade housing to ensure the blade teeth point the correct way (towards the front of the saw).
  • Make sure the arbour on the NEW blade is the same size as the spindle (16mm)
  • Place the blade onto the inner flange. CARE: The inner flange must be in-place before the blade.

6. Replace the outer flange and tighten the bolt

  • Put the outer flange back in position.
  • Tighten the bolt clockwise using the Allen key while holding the spindle lock.

7. Release the blade guard

  • Ensure the guard moves freely and automatically covers the blade.

Final Checks

  • Confirm the blade is secure and spins freely without wobble.
  • Reconnect the power only when you are ready to cut.
