How to Fit a Blade on a Ryobi Circular Saw
Safety First
- Disconnect the battery/disconnect the power before making any adjustments.

Step-by-Step Instructions
- Engage the spindle lock
- Press and hold the spindle lock button (or use the locking mechanism provided) to stop the spindle from turning.

- Loosen the blade bolt
- Use the Allen key supplied with the saw to turn the bolt anti- Clockwise to loosen it.

- Move the lower blade guard out of the way
- Lift or retract the guard using the retracting handle so you can access the spindle and fit the blade.
- Keep fingers clear of the blade area at all times.
- Remove the outer flange and old blade
- Take off the outer flange and carefully remove the blade from the spindle.

- Fit the new blade
- Follow the direction-of-cut arrow on the blade housing to ensure the blade teeth point the correct way (towards the front of the saw).
- Make sure the arbour on the NEW blade is the same size as the spindle (16mm)
- Place the blade onto the inner flange. CARE: The inner flange must be in-place before the blade.
- Replace the outer flange and tighten the bolt
- Put the outer flange back in position.
- Tighten the bolt clockwise using the Allen key while holding the spindle lock.

- Ensure the guard moves freely and automatically covers the blade.

Final Checks
- Confirm the blade is secure and spins freely without wobble.
- Reconnect the power only when you are ready to cut.
