Can Ryobi Drills Drill Through Concrete and Metal?

All Ryobi 18V ONE+ drill drivers and 18V ONE+ hammer drills are capable of drilling through timber, metal or tile when the drill setting is selected. 

Only hammer drills and rotary hammer drills are capable of drilling through concrete or masonry when the hammer setting is selected.

Important to note 

1. Use the correct drill bit for the material 

• If drilling through metal, the correct metal drill bit must be used. 
• If drilling through concrete or masonry, the correct masonry bit must be used. 
• If drilling through tile, the correct tile bit must be used.
   

2. Select the correct drill setting on the tool itself

• Always ensure the drill is set to the appropriate mode for the material being drilled.
